Hotel Citrine, Palo Alto, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Great hotel. Rooms and common areas are great and the staff exceeded all expectations. Had stayed at adjoining AC property which is also nice but will return here. Gym was great. Coffee service much appreciated. Front desk and cleaning crew were very friendly. Keep up the great work

Cute, boutique style, friendly staff and great restaurant. Only con is valet parking only or you can park on the street which is hit or miss.

Amazing.

Our first 2-night weekend staycation with my wife was pleasant and relaxing. The room very quiet, clean, modern and bed very comfortable. First night’s restaurant quality hamburger dinner we ordered from the hotel’s restaurant was cooked to near perfection but on the smallish side, the baked half chicken and vegetables were overcooked but flavorful. Second night dinner we ordered the $65 steak and baked half chicken as the items on their menu is pretty limited. This time the steak and baked half chicken and vegetables met our expectations. We went back two weeks later as my wife liked the hotel so much, we informed Lin at the front desk the reason we came back. She graciously welcomed us back and she offered us each a complimentary glass of wine as a welcome drink! Our room this time around had as amazing view of the pool area. We were enjoying our wonderful staycation but it was interrupted by a phone call from Lin at the fron desk informing us that the valet parker could not find our car key fob! Thankfully I found out that my key fob was not lost after all. Dinner we ordered from the hotel’s restaurant were cooked to near perfection.

Front desk staff with shockingly rude and unhelpful attitude. One of two elevators did not work.

Hotel room’s first impression was the delightful but not overwhelming fragrance you smell as soon as you enter. The two queen beds, linens, pillows were very comfortable. Room faced a busy road but room remained quiet. Bought dinner from the hotel’s restaurant. The $24 burger’s taste met my wife’s expectations but she said it was a little small. My half roasted chicken was a little bit overcooked but tasty. Second night, bought dinner again from the hotel’s restaurant. The $64 steak met my wife’s expectations. It was tender, juicy and cooked medium rare as we ordered. I asked for steak sauce but was told they did not have any for our $64 steak. One of the restaurant servers commented “most people” don’t ask for steak sauce. They finally found an almost empty bottle of the famous brand of steak sauce for us. I gave the kitchen staff another chance to cook me another half roasted chicken with a comment to the server about the previous night’s overcooked chicken. Thankfully, the roasted half chicken was cooked satisfactorily this time around.

Great stay. Restaurant was wonderful. Valet parking was not as smooth as it could be but overall we enjoyed this hotel. The 2 queen room only had room for 1 stuffed chair but room was beautiful.

The property has great vibes, nice indoor/outdoor areas, a pleasant helpful staff and is very clean. Newish property that ticked all the boxes. I was only there for one night and didn’t try the restaurant it they had a nice crowd in the evening.

This boutique hotel is a very nice upscale choice in the Palo Alto area. It is quiet, clean, immaculate, and comfortable. Rooms are modern. Upon check-in, they gave us a lovely citrine keepsake stone and some sparkling wine. My husband loved the in-room Nespresso machine. Our room had an in-room mini refrigerator, eye mask, complimentary bottled water, spacious bathroom, and a walk-in shower with a rainfall shower head and good water pressure. They also had lovely citrus scented bath products. There was free streaming with Netflix, HBO, and Showtime. You can even create your own potpourri at this hotel. There was free street parking on San Antonio Road when we arrived.

The hotel was very nice but our room had no microwave , we did complimentary water and the pool was heated but a little disappointing because it was so SMALL and it’s only 4ft so not many people can be inside at the same time.
