Holiday Inn Express - Wells-Ogunquit-Kennebunk by IHG

Location, food and staff were pleasant

I am very disappointed in the fact that when I reserved the room over a month ago it said that this Location had a hot tub (the wife's only hotel requirement) and it did not.

Really very little unfortunately. I have stayed at this hotel many times. However, its quality has progressively deteriorated as gradually described in my previous reviews. For example, the dispensers which hold the shampoo, conditioner and body wash bottles (it appears bar soap has been eliminated) was literally falling apart and did so once while I was showering. The shower doors in this particular room worked, that is they shut and could still be opened, but in other rooms I have had the door gradually opened which made me need to rig up a way with towels to keep the shower door closed. The wash bowl water pressure is always very low, I suspect to conserve water, which is commendable. But this time it was VERY slow, just beyond a dribble, and it took a while to get warm. The "SMART" TV was a huge PIA. I just wanted to watch TV and see what was on, but that truly required technical gymnastics to do. I found a channel with a movie series I liked and watched it again but had to find Sunday Night Football. This was a disappointing stay.

Great staff. Great breakfast. While limited in size both the pool and fitness room were very nice. Only downside to stay was lack of internet on the tv. Would have been nice to watch Netflix. Everything else was A+

It was noisy...I could hear every door close, everyone in the hallway, etc.
