Casas da Baixa - Lighthouse Apartments

Decent property, furnishings are IKEA, while not necessarily bad, as I sometimes visit IKEA myself, cheapens the place a bit. Otherwise no issues, good accommodations.

El alojamiento de 10, no solo por la ubicación, sino por la limpieza, lo completo de servicios y la amabilidad en la co ubicación. Lo reconendo sin duda, no hemos tenido ni una sola pega.

I found the whole process very simple. Communication was simple and quick. When we had an issue it was rectified quickly

We were pleasantly surprised about Casa da Baixa. Our unit was roomy and the location was simply outstanding. There is a coffee shop on the ground floor and two excellent restaurants just across the street. The cathedral is just up the hill. The train station is a 17 minute walk away, while the main plaza at the harbor entrance is 5 minutes away.

Easy to get the code and enter the building and your accommodation. Accommodation was very clean and quiet. The staff were quick to respond to messages. They were understanding and responsive to let us check in early when we asked them the day of our arrival into Portugal. Great location - close walk to Praça do Comércio and many restaurants, bakeries, convenience stores, ice cream.

The location is great. Walk to all areas. Big and bright space. Have extra sheets and blanket. The bed sheets are good. Very clean.

The washer never work. Furniture is very cheap and not practical. The place itself is very big and roomy. If the owner upgrade the sofa, and the bed, more useful night stands instead of a dorm like stool as night stands. It can be a more upscale unit. All kitchen pot and pan need update. The lid of 1 pot has lost 1 screw. The non stick pan is unusable. I like to believe the owner need to check up on their maintenance team. Please please get some new pillows. The pillows they had are so bad and flat. We have to use the cushion from the sofa then put the thin pillow on top.
