Hida House

Very nice and well equipped accommodation in a great location. It's about 15 minutes to the railway station and about the same to old city center. In the kitchen you'll find all you'd need to cook or re-heat meals bought in a kombini. The bath room is quite spacious, pretty and also well equipped :)

All is very well. Only small inconvenience is lack of central heating - a standard in Japan. This just means that the corridor and staircase are rather cold.

Location was good. one of the rooms was a bit small.

Stairs to take up luggage was a bit difficult

This is a relatively large traditional house that has been thoughtfully equipped with modern comforts to ensure a great stay. It is centrally located a 15 minute walk from the station and 10 minutes walk from most attractions. The ground floor kitchen area has a nice outlook over a small garden and one of the upper floor bedrooms overlooks a shrine and park. There was good communication from the hosts. Recommended.

This is an incredible, traditional Japanese home. It is very large, beautiful and is a real gem. I would highly recommend this place!

The dryer part of the washing machine was difficult to use and didn’t dry clothes but I may not have been using it correctly

Beautiful, spacious house. Large kitchen, comfortable beds/futons, beautiful interior. Great for families. All the little details really make this place amazing. Location is great as well with a bunch of tiny restaurants nearby and more just a 10 min walk away.

Washroom is not heated so it can get pretty cold but every other room has an heater/AC.
