Four Points by Sheraton Josun, Seoul Myeongdong

I stayed at Four Points by Sheraton Josun Seoul Myeongdong for five nights in May 2026 while on a business trip. The hotel's biggest strength is its location. It is right in the heart of Seoul, with countless restaurants, shopping opportunities and attractions nearby, yet my room on the 25th floor was remarkably quiet. As an added bonus, I had a beautiful view of N Seoul Tower from my corner room. The room itself was not particularly spacious, but perfectly adequate for a solo business traveller. The excellent sound insulation, very effective air conditioning and overall cleanliness stood out positively. The bathroom was also perfectly acceptable for this category of hotel, with sufficient space and a good shower. Service was typically Asian in the best sense of the word: discreet, professional and consistently friendly. I also appreciated being granted a late check-out, which made my departure day much more comfortable. The main downside was the condition of some of the furniture. Several pieces showed noticeable wear and tear, and in a few places the surface coating had chipped away, exposing the particle board underneath. This felt somewhat out of place compared to the otherwise well-maintained appearance of the hotel. The luggage rack was also rather small. Breakfast was decent but not memorable. The selection was mainly international and the overall quality was satisfactory, though not outstanding. Overall, this is a clean, functional and very well-located hotel for business travellers or anyone planning a short stay in Seoul. If your priorities are convenience, a central location and a quiet night's sleep, it is a solid choice.

Es hat einfach alles gepasst. Super Frühstück für westliche Touristen, tolle Anbindung an die U-Bahn Linie 2 (Ausgang 12 direkt vorm Hoteleingang), 6015 Airport Bus beim U-Bahn Eingang. Man ist schnell zu Fuß in Myeongdong und es gibt genug authentische Lokale in der Umgebung. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es hat alles gepasst.

Frühstücksbuffet könnte von der Uhrzeit verlängert werden. Bis 10:00 war oft knapp.
