Belvada Hotel

We’ve stayed here annually for the past 5 years. Always loved the hotel, location and town. But the service is falling apart - no one mans the desk anymore and not even a phone to call across the street for checkin. Ultimately played frogged trying to not get run over crossing the street. Would’ve been nice to know this ahead of time. The gym gets worse and worse and in a year since I said the elliptical didn’t work no one has bothered to fix it. The beautiful new treadmill is locked out to those without an account meaning as a guest I couldn’t use it. I would recommend saying elsewhere unless you have no other choice (and the mizpah is owned by the same family and it’s worse having stayed there previously)

It was a good overnight stay. A bit pricey.

There is no staff to be seen. You have to register & receive key across the street at the Mizpah. Please put a box of tissues in room?

It was a great stop here on our drive through Nevada. We had a comfortable room that was quiet and had nice towels with plenty of hooks! The food at the Mizpah was great!

We wished that the coffee shop had been open.

Third time staying here, driving from Oregon to Vegas. I always get there after the front desk staff has left for the day. Checking in across the street has never been a problem, but if it's raining/snowing that's going to be much more of an issue. One other small issue, this stay I could not get the thermostat to work. Room was stuck on 61 degrees despite my best efforts. It's the same thermostat that's in the other two rooms I've stayed in so I don't know if it was me or the equipment.

The hotel in general was a really good experience aside from the lack of staff.
