Ulster Apartments

Not much to say here at all

This property seems like emergency accommodation and very insecure. The fact I slept in my Ute because we were worried about things being stollen. Hearing everyone else in their appartments and having them try and enter our room at all hours of the night that frightened our young boy. The random slice/knife hole in the sink, poor and dirty showers and the very uncomfortable beds.

Location, property upkeep and priced right

On-site laundromat, pressure booster for hot water would make it more comfortable. Stone top for kitchen would be easier to maintain

Staff was good and accommodating to finding alternative accom options due to the system error.

I had a group of 24 people and we were double booked. Group was split into 3 different accom locations.

Good location, and helpful hosts. Good parking. The unit was clean.

This may have been just because it was a Saturday night, but the noise coming from the neighbouring property (privately own units) was really bad and resulted in a poor night's sleep. They were playing loud music until at least 2am, and the soundproofing in the Ulster apartments just isn't enough to minimise that. Also, not having a couch or somewhere to sit that wasn't a bed was disappointing. Please can more kitchen supplies be added as well - scissors and a can-opener would be great. Other guests need to be aware that while this accommodation is clean and the hosts are lovely, it is VERY basic.
