Upon walking into the room, we noticed the pillows on the bed were in a disarray. We thought it was odd and the room had a strange smell, like a wet odor. We informed the front desk lady and asked if we could change room as the bed linens did not appear changed and the pillows were moved without us touching them. They handed us linens to put on our own bed to change. Room comes with no basic toiletries even upon request so be aware of that. Floors were sticky and we did not want to walk barefoot. An uncomfortable experience after driving for hours. We feel as though fresh made linens is common sense when you book a hotel room.

The room served my purpose. It was very economical and a cold A/C. But on Friday night when I came back around 12:30am from a night in town, the lights were all off in the lobby and the hallways on the 1st floor. I didn't feel unsafe, but it was unexpected and a little odd. The Saturday night was different, and all lights were on appropriately. Overall satisfied with the price and quality of my 2 day weekend stay.

No towels, remote, soap, dishes. I had to go buy my own towels. No coffee in rooms or in the lobby.

It's not a hotel, but an extended stay, so there is no front desk person available and if your arrive after midnight, you will lose your room. There is no breakfast like other hotels... it's just your room. It was a decent place, but difficult to check in if you arrive after normal business hours.

Our late check-in was not at all welcoming...never been to a place where blinds at the registration desk was lowered and after calling 2 of the nos. posted, it took almost 10 mins before a staff showed up. Check in was very slow but staff was helpful and friendly. Room was pleasantly modern with wood floors and simply clean with modern furnishings including a soft, leather couch! Our overnight stay was so comfortably quiet and we will surely want to come back here again to stay whenever we come to visit Lake Charles.
