Ocean Pearl - Airlie Beach

Location was great, apartment was very well equipped and beautifully decorated.

We couldn’t use the spa as the water was dirty and green ants everywhere. We chose this apartment because of the spa but we’re very disappointed with this.

The driver forgot our keys, but made it quick and easy to retrieve the keys again

Miscommunication

Stunning apartment, great facilities every thing you need. Modern and clean. Pool is great as is the sauna

Walk up the hill is great for the legs but you need to have good fitness, thankfully we did. Process for collecting keys was a bit crazy as they wanted us to collect keys and drop off keys about 6km away . But resolved with an ask for transfer driver to give us the keys and also leave keys on the room. Other than that it was lovely

We loved the view. The spa on balcony was great. The infinity pool was beautiful.

False advertising in reference to bed configurations. As stated in booking.com 2 rooms one with large double and other room with 2 doubles. Instead 2nd room had only 2 singles.Cleaners neglected do their job as requested by us and Kp from whitsunday Acc. On numerous occasions. However can not thank Kp enough for her assistance. Also please be aware if getting a transfer from airport. They only drop you off at bottom of Pinnacles driveway. As the driveway to Ocean Pearl accomodation is extremely steep. My advice hire a car. Or Ocean Pearl would benefit from providing a buggy service to take arricals to theie rooms when arriving with luggage.

Well stocked unit with everything you need. Clean and tidy.

The size of the apartment; the views; easy drive to supermarket and the Main Street; the responsiveness of the property manager to questions I had.

1. The robe doors in the main bedroom were jammed and couldn’t be used. I was surprised that the cleaners had not reported this last time the apartment was cleaned. 2. The wifi instructions provided in the Information booklet were wrong. 3. The shower screens were dirty. 4. The blinds in the main bedroom were not properly fitted as some of the brackets were broken. Again, I was surprised that the cleaners had not reported this previously. 5. On our drive up the steep road in the complex, it was very hard to see the apartment number. Fortunately the car park was clearly marked, and we were able to find the apartment from there. 6. A leak from the spa in the apartment above us, was leaving a wet area in front of the door leading from the second bedroom to the spa / outdoor area. Also the paint on the ceiling where the leak was happening was peeling badly. When the property manager was advised of this, they advised they were aware of this and in the process of getting it fixed. Based on the extent of the paint peeling, it looked to me that this problem had been there for some time. 7. We asked the property manager if there were and brooms we could use. We were advised that there was a small vacuum cleaner in the laundry. However the door in the laundry, where I suppose the vacuum was stored, was locked. We advised the property manager accordingly. 8. The shirt on the bottom of the mattress in the main bedroom was disintegrating onto the carpet below it. This caused a mess on the floor that we were unable To clean up, as we didn’t have access to the vacuum cleaner or dustpan/broom.

Location was good, view was amazing!

Beds were a little uncomfortable

Could have been cleaner, dust on most surfaces, not enough towels, people at complex reception not helpful to visitors, rude. Bus dropped at bottom of hill difficult to get cases up, need someone there with a buggy on first arrival.

Fridge leaked and was reported to PRD. Towels were very thin.
