Montana Inn near Little Bighorn - Colstrip

Dilapidated would be giving it high marks, you should not allow this place to be on hotels.com it was disgusting and l am glad to have come out alive!

It’s an older kind of run down place but the staff is very friendly the bedding and sheets are clean and the AC works. A much better value for the dollar spent than the just so-so place I spent $140. for night before last in Western Idaho. I always say I just want to rent the bed for the night, not buy it.

I normally do not write reviews but feel I should save people from wasting their money. "Ran down" are the best words I can use to give this an accurate rating. The floors were bumpy to the point the front door didnt open correctly. One of the windows were busted. There was only one towel.The AC unit didn't work.The toilet was crooked, was sinking into the floor and also had trouble flushing. The sink faucet was missing an aerator and sprayed in every direction when turned on. The bathroom mirror was cracked. Floors were stained. The lighting fixtures were broken. The smell was musky, like an old basement. The ceiling looked like it was about to come down in spots. The condition of this place was so bad that it looked like they didnt even try to clean it. I felt like we were in a crack-house in New York City. We did not feel safe and left as soon as possible. Worst motel we've ever stayed at. This place should be condemned and not worth renovating. It should be free or they should pay you for staying there.

It was as if new bedding and linens were the only cleaning that was done. Toilet is uneven. Only mirror is in the bathroom and if you're short it's challenging. No coffee anywhere at location but gas station is near by. Staff was friendly and I liked the old fashion key. A/C worked well and was so loud that is masked the other ppl.

The pictures on the web do not show the true condition of the motel. The bathroom stool was so lose it had to be leaking. The furniture had to be the original when the motel was built. There was no room on one side of the bed. The bed was tight against the wall. When the air conditioning was on you could not hear the tv. The tv reception was full of fuzz. We left and went to another motel and spent the night.

Quiet. Remodeled bathroom. You get what you pay for. Nice folks.

This hotel was like a trap house. Lots of drug addicted people. The “front desk” person thought it was a good idea to “clean” the room next to us at 12:30am and there were random people hanging out with her, roaming the halls all hours of the night. I literally barred the door in fear that someone would try to come in our room while we slept on the grossest bed linens. We slept over the covers that’s how nasty it was. Stay away from this “brothel” like motel. I will never stay here again.

After traveling 12 hrs we got to the hotel atound 2 am and the manager was so nice she let us come in and set up our room was very accommodating to our needs. It did not feel like we were in a hotel it was comfrontable and welcoming being here. I would give them a high rating. They are renovating the place too which is looking good the staff are so nice. Me and my family actually stayed longer then we had planned and the manager has been so great we will be back again and this is the place we would stay at every time.

The staff was extremely friendly but the room was terrible! There were bed bugs, the window was covered over by 2 towels and a curtain, the shower was filthy and there were dogs barking for hours in the hallway thru the night. They didn’t quiet down till after midnight and I had to be up at 4 am. The reason it is so cheap is because it’s the only way to get people to stay.

Get what you pay for. Good, cheap room for a few hours of shuteye.
