Fairmont Ambassador Seoul

The staff is excellent. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable. They have free coffee, Japanese-style toilets, and very large bathtubs. The bed and pillows make you never want to leave the bed. The only small complaint is the lighting in front of the bathroom mirror is a little dark. The rest of the hotel and location is superb.

Good location near train stations and bus stops. Very spacious room with friendly staff. The only flip side was daily room servicing, looks like the room is not vacuumed, hair and other little things still will be there in the room after daily room service. Breakfast was good but doesn’t have much Western options.

Excellent service, and the poperty

Went to the Mariposa, and had a dinner course. It was very nice. Big table, good variation in the course. The main menu was amazing (steak). Servers were amazing too. Thanks to them. Thank you for the latte too!

We had the most incredible lunch of a 4-course meal at the restaurant at Fairmont, called Mariposa. My breath was first taken away by the beauty of the place…. It was like being transported to a different place and time, some kind of Art Deco butterfly haven. Then, course after course, we were moaning and clapping and at some point, a tear was even shed. Absolutely the most delicious and visually stunning meal I’ve had in a long time. Lunch here felt kind of like a random choice, but boy am I glad we did it. It’s not an everyday affair, but for a special occasion? You can’t have a better experience. Shout out to the genius chef Andre and our amazing server, Celine!

I had such a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. What made the evening even more special was the impeccable service. May and Layla were incredibly kind and attentive throughout the meal — their service was truly perfect. I visited on my birthday, and the special lettering service they prepared was such a thoughtful and memorable touch. They made us feel welcomed and taken care of from start to finish. I left the restaurant feeling happy and truly celebrated. I can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended!

The terrace offers a romantic view of the Han River, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. We were truly impressed by the seasonal dishes that pleased both my meat-loving husband and my vegetarian self. Every plate was crafted with great care, offering both flavour and artistry. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive throughout, making the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. A special thank you to Richard for the impeccable wine pairing – the Chianti Classico you recommended was simply perfect. :)

Layla was the best! She made the most memorable night with her delicious cocktails. Ramos gin fizz with peach flavor was especially good!
