Casas da Baixa - Vila Intendente

The apartment was quite large with plenty of storage and had everything you needed. The bed was comfy and the shower was good. The pool on the second floor whilst shallow was great to cool off in after a day of sight seeing in the heat. Location was close to public transport and restaurants and walking distance to Sao Jorge Castello. Closing the windows and shutters completely blocked out any street noise. And it has a washing machine which was great!

Apartment was a bit tricky to locate as it is located between two restaurants! After going around in circles a couple of times we found the street number of the property on the glass doors!

Lovely big apartment. Well proportioned. Has towels for both bath and pool. Food options literally outside the door.

Pool area was a bit bleak. No chairs, three sunbeds of which two were broken. Not like in photos. The location was slightly dubious. Looks of men loitering in square down the road. Would say not suitable for single females.

Told 3 days before arriving pool not usable. Booked because of the pool. Couldn't even sit there as no chairs or shades. Outside noise and also flats very noisy.. Main problem sofa bed broken. Unable to sleep. No reply from complaint had been tied together with webbing. Metal pole sticking in back as broken in half .had to move the mattress onto the floor

Great size, lots of space in the main room. nice to have codes instead of keys (can’t get locked out), within walking distance of some great things in Lisbon, not noisy, aircon worked great, shower was great. Easy to get Bolt taxis everywhere. Lots of clothes storage. Metro nearby.

The pool wasn’t available the 6 days we were there which was disappointing. The property itself lacks a bit of a finish like art, more glasses, mirror in the bedroom etc. In terms of location, there is a nice square on one side, but round the back the road is a little sketchy with a staircase which I would avoid if travelling on your own. But the front door into the building is definitely safe so don’t be too put off.

Located close to the centre and the Tram 28 route

The bed was excellent, the sofa good enough. The room was very clean, the breakfast was healthy but the options were limited. In addition, even if that was not a real problem I would prefer if there were somewhere inside the bathroom to hang the towels. There were 2 points but the towels fell from there. But overall the property was really good. I mentioned these things above in order to reach perfection.
