La ubicación.

Aunque pagué por una sencilla, está habitación era claustrofóbica, con ruido de alguna maquinaria del sistema de aire acondicionado o calentador, no lo sé; lo que hizo nada grato tratar de dormir. Además, para ir al baño de la habitación, había un pasillo que conectaba a otras dos puertas, lo que me hacía sentir insegura.

Overall, we were pleased with our stay at the Noah. Shout out to Oswaldo (the GM) for the warm reception! The location is on the edge of the boardwalk but we did not mind the walk at all. Just a short walk to other beach clubs and hotel restaurants. Aesthetically, the hotel grounds hit the mark (beach club, restaurant, and lobby). My room was not as inviting perhaps because it was their basic room; gloomy, not decorative, and bed was hard. We ate dinner at the restaurant for 2 of 3 nights and my party gave positive comments. Just note, the prices are on the higher end including the cervezas. We only had one slightly sour experience at the beach club. One night, we purchased a couple beers at the market to have a night capper at the beach club. We quickly got shut down as a member of the staff coldly advised we could not drink beverages purchased outside. That's fine but it was his tone that turned us off.  Anyhow, Cheers!

The hotel is visually appealing but feels basic and hastily built. The structure seemed poorly made with thin walls—you can easily hear neighboring guests—and it didn’t inspire confidence in case of a storm. Although our balcony room was advertised with an ocean view, palm trees blocked most of it, and the strong sulfur smell from decaying seaweed made sitting outside unpleasant. The room had several maintenance issues: the balcony doors didn’t lock, the toilet cover wouldn’t stay up, and the shower head dripped constantly. Service was inconsistent; cleaning staff was kind, but reception felt indifferent and unwelcoming. One receptionist never greeted us, even when we greeted her. During checkout, the receptionist required an unexpected room inspection, which felt awkward. As part of the stay, we could access the beach club, but the water was murky with algae and there were dead fish. The restaurant food was well-presented and tasty, though expensive compared to local options. The broader Mahahual beach area was disappointing. Private businesses have taken over large sections of the coastline-technically not legal in Mexico. Walking along the boardwalk, persistent vendors constantly approach to sell services, which makes the area feel more commercial than relaxing. We went snorkeling but found only a few fish and gray coral, a stark contrast to years ago when turtles and jellyfish were common. Overall, overpriced for the limited comfort and experience.

Está muy limpio el hotel, habitación igual limpia, el tema es que tienen una receptora de mariscos enfrente y ocasiona un poco de mal olor . En general y quitando ese tema, todo lo demás muy bien

After a road trip accross Mexico we ended up rather by coincidence in this place. What a great surprise. Very well located right at the beach, large and lovely decorated rooms. And super friendly staff (and management). Also the restaurant (inside the hotel but under seperate management) was extremely pleasant with excellent food, served right on the beach. Super staff and management. So happy the have found the place. It is without doubt the best hotel and restaurant in Mahahual.

The location is great! Nice rooms ! Management stop notch ! Recommend staying here ! Everything is really clean, and really enjoyed staying here. I will stay here again in the future.
