Kakureyado Fujikawaguchiko

The name says it all, The Hidden Hotel’ Once you go out back, there’s a huge deck with tables, lounge chairs, BBQs and even a jacuzzi! Our suite was amazing with a huge living room with french doors opening onto the deck. It also had a beautiful wooden Japanese bath which was very welcome after golf. We went out for dinner next i would stay there and BBQ on the deck. It’s like an oasis in the middle of a busy town. The owner is interesting and very hospitable. Will definitely go there again!

No minuses.

For the price, it’s a good place to stay for a couple of days. It has all amenities you need and the owner offers a shuttle service to Kawaguchiko station during check in/out.

The place is not built for tall people.

De eigenaar was heel vriendelijk, behulpzaam en gastvrij. De locatie was ook erg mooi gelegen aan de bosrand en de accommodatie zag er bijzonder en leuk uit qua inrichting. Echt een beleving. Bij vertrek werden we zelfs uitgezwaaid door de eigenaar. Zo lief!

Het was jammer dat de eerste dag de jacuzzi niet gebruikt kon worden. Gelukkig op de tweede dag wel. Het was heerlijk!

イベント参加のため早朝に　朝食のために電気ポットと電子レンジ同時使用したらブレーカーが上がり部屋の電源が落ちてしまった。 呼び出しのためインター本鳴らしたが応答無し。 仕方なく玄関扉横にあったブレーカーから当該部屋のブレーカーをonしてなんとか元に戻った。 こんなことあり得ません。

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend and I’m honestly surprised by such high reviews. The place feels generally shady, there are guns hanging in the common area and in general it doesn’t feel cosy. There are many spaces where ceiling is really low so an average guy can’t walk there with normal body position. We had a big apartment which in theory was fine, but we did not have a key to it so we weren’t able to lock the doors when leaving which didn’t feel safe combined with the atmosphere there. Breakfasts are very basic and in 2 out of 3 jars of jem we noticed mold.

L'hébergement est idéalement situé : proche d'un supermarché, laverie, restaurants, épicerie. Le Lac Kawaguchiko est facilement accessible à pied ou à vélo. Notre hôte, Taka, est très sympathique, bienveillant et au service de l'autre. Son hébergement nous offre tout le confort nécessaire pour passer un agréable moment. Mauvaise météo pendant notre séjour sauf le jour de notre départ (grand soleil), encore merci Taka de nous avoir fait profiter d'une superbe vue sur le Mont Fuji avant de partir.
