Ocean House Boutique Hotel & Motel

The property was mostly clean and spacious, if not a little bit sandy. The staff checking in were friendly and helpful. The location was convenient for walking into town. However I think the images are quite misleading and the property is spread over a few buildings. You check in at a different location and the building we stayed in didn't look like the images (I think that may be a different hotel). Perhaps it was the room we booked but it wasn't obvious when we were booking how different our motel/hotel experience would be to the images! Additionally the train comes through regularly which I think would affect all hotels in the area, but it was incredibly loud and woke us up multiple times throughout the night.

Great location, short sandy walk to the beach, wonderful friendly staff, accomodating, room was great.

Reception for hotel was 3 blocks away, the room and bathroom is from 1970s nothing like the photos online. All needs updating.

The beach being right outback was wonderful. The suite was cute with a little kitchenette livingroom and 2 bed bedroom and bathroom. Just big enough for my daughter and I to share some time together since she is usually away at college.

they rooms were nicely updated and comfortable and the house had so much old charm - with just enough modern Decore. I liked the feel of the whole thing and staff were accommodating and lovely

3 floor walk up with luggage was a challenge. No elevator

We loved that the beach was a short walk from our hotel!

Some of the buildings and rooms are older. We switched to a newer room and had an ocean view!
