Ocean House Boutique Hotel & Motel

Had an excellent experience.

We stayed in the Ocean House and it was beautifully decorated. The room was very clean and bright.

I liked how close it was to the main peer area. I liked how comfortable the bed was. I liked that the cable was something that worked. There wasn't a whole lot about this place to be excited about once we arrived.

I didn't like that checking in to the Ocean House Boutique Hotel & Motel was done two other hotels down the road. I didn't like that I wasn't placed in the hotel part as advertised but the motel part. I didn't like that the Wi-Fi never worked whenever I tried to use it gave an internet is unavailable with "OOBC" guest prompt. I didn't like that when I tried calling guest services to remedy the Wi-Fi, I dialed 0 from the room phone it never connected to guest services like the instructions said. I didn't like that when I tried using my cell phone to call guests services when "0" didn't work that I just heard "hello, hello" because cell service is bad WHICH IS WHY I NEEDED Wi-Fi!

Renovated property that offers a good value . Would go back anytime

The rooms were spacious and bright however they were very dusty. The dust on the ceiling fans, the dust in the tower fans. It did seem to exacerbate as my symptoms in our guests. We did try to do a genuine cleaning. The staff was wonderful and accommodating the building itself is beautiful and right by the sea plenty of parking very short walk to the beach I would highly recommend staying again.

I arrived in the evening and had to check in at another hotel, the Waves. It was confusing and time-consuming, and it wasn't clear how to get to my room on the second floor of one of the buildings. The agent offered unclear instructions about where my room was and my building. This is an older hotel with beachfront access. They also have a 10 am departure time. When I asked to be allowed to leave at 11, they said I had to call in the morning.

Love the location and love the cleanliness of the place

Only thing was that the rooms were absolutely tiny
