"Not what I expected from a Hampton Inn"

Friendly staff

Hate the bathroom door it’s a sliding barn door type no way to latch it for privacy and it’s noisy when sliding it open and shut. We could hear the door of the room next to ours

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful and clean. The breakfast area was spacious and the food was good. The coffee was excellent!

"Ridiculous"

We got a call the day that we were scheduled to arrive stating that their policy doesn't not allow for local residents to stay there. The call was very uncomfortable and intrusive. We live about 30 minutes away so not sure why we are considered local. The fact that we were called the day we were supposed to check in compounded the frustration of the situation.
