Hampton Inn Cave City, KY

Well appointed hotel. Delicious breakfast. Nice stsy.

Booked a room after driving 10 hours. My family was exhausted. We got to a room about 4 am I laid my baby girl down and fleas immediately jumped on her. We were in the room all of five minutes. I went down stairs to change rooms. The front desk person said the manager took away the staff's ability to make room changes. I asked her to cancel our room she was unable to do that either. She said to book another room and they would fix the charges in the morning. I read another review about bugs but ignored it because there was just the one and it was a pet friendly hotel. This morning while checking out I was informed that they had called the manager and the district manger and no one was able to refund us the room we didn't use. They are keeping the money as a cancelation fee. So I was charged for 2 rooms. After checking into the reviews more it appears this is a practice they do often. No one even the district manager knows how to remove charges 🙄 We had to call our bank and report it as fraud to get it removed. Please take the reviews more seriously. They will steal your money.

The hotel is very worn. The carpet in the room was disgusting. The bed was worn out, towels were very thin. The bathrooms were clean. The pool was dirty. Breakfast was fair. Coffee was good. The staff was great.

Breakfast had fewer options than Hampton Inn in Radcliff, KY.

Very clean, great staff, very comfortable bed.

Having to return home

Clean. Bed is comfortable. Pool area is clean. Quiet. Air conditioner works well.

Lobby cleanliness. Chairs looked worn. There were people cleaning….after we had already found a table for eat at. We are at a table that was not cleaned in between the last diners and us.
