The George Inn Middle Wallop

Netter Pub mit Biergarten in der Nähe von Stonehenge, trotz der Lage direkt an der Straße war es nachts ruhig. Freundliches Personal, tolles Frühstück.

A really enjoyed my stay at The George. A genuine old English Pub, a cosy, clean room and just what I wanted .... not your charachterless modern boxes. A merry bar and excellent Full English Brekky with friendly amusing lady doing all the work! I also liked that in the bedroom there was loads of Tea, Coffee, Milk etc, ..... not your usual one or two packets. I will definitely stay at this little hotel when next going that way. Loved the Landlords dog too!

Great location near to Thruxton Circuit in quiet village. Friendly landlord (and his enthusiastically friendly young Cocker Spaniel!). Comfortable room (I had the small single room), they arranged an early breakfast for me. Good Guinness too.

Single room was small but adequate. Some dust on the fan, and bathroom needs a little attention cosmetically.

The breakfast was ok, cooked well but just slapped on the table, no personal care or attention, because only one person doing cooking and serving you could tell they were in a rush. Just told to leave key on the bar, no thank you, no how was your visit, nothing .. bad customer care

Cleanliness, cobwebs and spiders, carpets dirty, lighting not working,noisy because over the bar which was over the bar, staff member and customer arguing early hours of the morning. Customers smoking and vaping at the bar, under age kids in bar area using bad language

Convenient location for Thruxton motor racing circuit.

I had to wait to check-in because of staff training. My evening meal first choice was unavailable and my second choice was missing potatoes as described on the menu. I wasn't offered tea or coffee with breakfast and had to ask. Traffic noise from busy road nearby started very early in the morning. Not the greatest experience.
