What I like is it makes you feel that you are in Bali with the way the Beraban looked. I didn't like that there wasn't any face washers available. Staff was very friendly and honest!

Nothing, it was mis advertised and mis represented on booking.com.

Photos online are clearly photoshopped as the property is run down. The location is ok, but on a fairly busy arterial with no sound insulation, this meant significant noise 24 hrs. Whilst this maybe acceptable during the day, at night, we got very little sleep. Add to that, a rodent presence in the roof of one of the rooms. Rustling noises in that roof prompted flagging with the property management who, to their credit, promptly investigated, and one of the workers (Yoyo) found clear evidence of rats. Despite fumigating (we had to vacate for few hours), roof noises persisted at night. The internet was sketchy at best, despite several reports. The overall cleanliness was mediocre with insects (esp ants) in abundance in the kitchen and all rooms. Some bathrooms had maggots in the shower (embedded in the ornamental rocks). We had an original booking for 2 weeks in good faith but had to abort and check out early after persevering for 5 nights, as otherwise the family holiday would be ruined. Our request for at least a partial refund was rejected by the property managers. What’s most upsetting is that you’re buying a product (full payment in advance to booking.com) that is significantly different from what’s advertised, I consider this fraudulent. I hold Booking.com responsible for allowing this property’s misleading profile to remain on their site despite the obvious previous similar complaints raised (supported by photos); which we sadly didn’t scrutinize in advance. Fell free to compare the “outside” photo attached with what’s advertised: The outdoor shower by the pool with the tree next to it being the orienting feature.

Beautiful spacious rooms, nice little pool
