Fairmont Sanya Haitang Bay

I stayed here for a 40th birthday celebration and the stay was wonderful. The hotel itself is beautifully kept, with spectacular landscaping, tropical plants including flowers and fruit trees, and situated between the sea and the mountains. Check-in staff were friendly and welcoming, housekeeping did an outstanding job, and even set up a birthday celebration arrangement in the room (spelled out 'happy birthday' in petals, gave a cake etc), for which I am extremely grateful. I loved the furniture in the room, which included a beautiful four poster bed and an intricately carved wooden desk. The gondola on the hotel canal is lovely (we did this twice), the swimming pool was excellent (towels, suncream, mosquito spray supplied, plenty of sun loungers too). The hotel even has some bonus features including a Ming dynasty museum onsite and a VR game room. The evening fire show was a nice touch too. Special mention to the Spanish restaurant onsite 'La Mesa', which delivered exceptional service and delicious food. Thank you.

We paid extra for lounge access, but in fact there was not a lounge. We had access to the breakfast room twice a day, once for snacks (sandwiches, cakes, fruit) and once for hot food (fried rice, noodles, Chinese dishes- buffet style). 'Cocktails' were also available. (Premade tall glasses of various syrup with alcohol, no-one knew what was in them or how to make a fresh cocktail upon request. We were told they were the hotel's 'signature cocktail'- they tasted like sugary water). The 'lounge' had no sofas or relaxing areas, it had kids there, dirty tongs and free-for-all buffet food. Not really what I imagined or expected. Breakfast was below expectations too- squash instead of juice, limited fruit (watermelon, jackfruit, sour apples) considering Hainan is a tropical island!, great range of Chinese-style breakfast (noodles, congee, steamed buns etc) but limited international breakfast options. Went to the bar on our last day at 19:20 and it was closed. These areas could be improved, however they did not ruin the stay. Overall, the Fairmont was excellent!

La struttura è veramente molto curata e situata lungo il mare, è un posto paradisiaco! Inoltre la cosa che ci ha fatto trovare bene è stato lo staff, che ci tenevo a ringraziare di cuore per tutta l’assistenza che ci hanno fornito, in particolare un grande ringraziamento ad Austin e Kimberly che sono due persone eccezionali!

Отдыхали в Fairmont Sanya Haitang Bay в конце Декабря 2025 и остались с очень приятными впечатлениями. Территория отеля невероятно красивая и ухоженная — много зелени, всё чисто, аккуратно и создаёт ощущение уединённого курорта. Пляж тоже порадовал: чистый, с удобными лежаками. Купаться, к сожалению, нельзя (как и на всём этом побережье), но для прогулок и отдыха у моря он отлично подходит. Завтраки — один из главных плюсов отеля. Очень богатый и вкусный выбор блюд на любой вкус. Особенно понравились местные супы и лапша, которые готовят прямо при вас — свежо, вкусно и с душой. Номера роскошные, просторные, с удобными кроватями, зонированием и прекрасным видом на море и зелёную территорию отеля. В номере всегда было чисто, уютно и приятно. Отдельно советую доплатить за доступ в лаунж — это действительно того стоит. Днём и вечером там подают закуски, сэндвичи, рис, лапшу и напитки в формате фуршета. Вполне может заменить обед и/или ужин, особенно если не хочется выходить из отеля. Хочется отдельно поблагодарить менеджера отеля Austin. Он всегда был на связи, быстро и легко помогал со всеми нашими запросами и сделал наше пребывание особенно комфортным и интересным. Благодаря ему мы действительно почувствовали заботу и внимание к гостям. Несмотря на то, что персонал в целом немного говорит по-английски, всегда ощущалось искреннее гостеприимство и желание помочь. Мы общались через переводчик, и это значительно упростило взаимодействие. Приятным бонусом стало то, что недалеко от отеля недавно открылся огромный duty free комплекс с большим количеством брендов и очень привлекательными ценами. В целом — отличный курортный отель для спокойного, комфортного отдыха. С удовольствием вернулись бы сюда снова

Немного удивило, что в отеле и в лобби не очень широкий выбор листового чая — для такого уровня отеля ожидали чуть больше разнообразия.
