Mattress is rock solid

I like the location and the shared kitchen facilities. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The beds are comfortable. They allow pets.

I’m have stayed here several times and they have just changed it to be as staff free as possible. There is nobody on reception at check in. Several guests had problems with the key codes sent. Nobody was answering the phone when I rang several times. One guest had to wait over an hour to get access to his room. It was chaotic and very uncomfortable. There is no reception to sit in to wait. I had been travelling for 7hrs to get there and it’s the last thing I needed. Also, nobody emptied the bins or cleaned the kitchen on the Saturday. The bins were overflowing. Not as good as my previous visits.

Check in straight forward, clear directions for keys etc

Mattresses definitely need change. Also it was very hot in the room with no possibility to adjust the temperature. I did not really appreciate £50 charge extra and still haven't to received it back- absolutely no need in that fee. Also would be great to know about this charge in advance before booking - I wouldn't book it if I'd known about it before
