AC Hotel by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Airport

We stayed one night prior to boarding a cruise. Chose the hotel due to location near stores and restaurants within walking distance. Its a newer area called Dania. The hotel has a shuttle from the airport but you need to plan it ahead of time and it was easier to get an uber/lyft. Hotel was nice and attached to a Marriott with a shared outdoor pool. The AC has an outdoor deck area off the lobby with nice seating overlooking the square. Front desk gave us water bottles at check in. The rooms were large and very nice. My only complaint is the LED panel near the door that is meant to serve as a nightlight that can’t be turned off. It made the room insanely bright (along with all the other little LED lights in the room) so we had to cover it to get the room somewhat dark. They have a small area for breakfast, which we didn’t try. We walked over toward the Marriott and got breakfast at Crema Cafe instead, which was really good. Staff at AC was great.

Large spacious room,very good location. Restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Close to airport and cruise port.

Room was not clean. Dirty floors and tables. Shower did not work well and door gaped open so water spilled onto floor. Called room service about the floor,someone came and lightly passed a mop in small area which did nothing. I redid bathroom floor and area where we walked with wash cloths.Showed the very dirty wash cloths to management. They apologized and gave us extra reward points and would take it up with housekeeping.

The location close to the airport and easy access, the restaurant, and the staff. The rooms were cleaned and the staff very accommodating when we needed some more bedding for the pullout couch. The European fixtures and quality of the bedroom stuff.

No me parece que siendo huéspedes tengamos que pagar parking, se supone que es un servicio del hotel, he viajado a muchos lugares y el parking no es cobrado.
