The airport shuttle bus service fee is too expensive. It costs twice as much as Uber service And I did not hear about the fee before check-out.

Breakfast was excellent, a variety of fresh vegetables, cheeses and pastries. The staff are really lovely and welcoming which is a bonus and it’s a very affordable, clean, boutique style hotel with a limited number of rooms. The view from our room was fabulous as we had a sea and city view of Izmir. The Kameralti Market is a 15 min walk down the hill from the hotel but easy to access.

Climbing narrow stairs up to our room as there is no lift. The paint needed work on the interior of the building, the doors more specifically. No kettle in the room.

Staff and host particularly were fantastic. Really helpful and took great care of me and made it such a special stay!

Variante hotel is a fantastic family place located in the old Turkish authentic house. The service was amazing especially I could recommend a typical Turkish breakfast on the terrace with a view to the seaside! The staff was amazing and made sure we felt as at home! The hotel is located next to the old town and a couple of minutes walking from public transportation stops.
