Grand Palace Hotel & Resort Sylhet

Was very nice to see the room decoration. it was simply outstanding. And other things was also very nice. I love the location also is very close the all major shopping mall.

Poor and misleading information by hotel.

Location of hotel is good. As it is in city centre so convenient to go other places.

Checkout time may be extended for 1/2 hours on request.

The location is excellent. It’s in the middle of the town centre. Everything is walking distance from the hotel. The shopping centres the restaurants you cannot go wrong if you choose this Hotel.

A distinctive buzzing sound in my room. I think it came from the aircon. It annoyed me and kept me awake. The hotel kindly moved me to another room, but it was just the same.

On surface the hotel and location looks good but it’s a false misleading cover!… It’s a shame because the hotel had potential. We stated in the Royal Suite and supposedly the best room in the hotel. If this was the best room then I worry for the rest of the room.

Everything and probably the worse hotel I have been to. Yellow jacuzzi bath water ( no idea why it is yellow!..)!.. Very poor and rude customer service apart from the initial welcoming customer service whilst checking in. When I complained about the water they ignored our complaint and made it look we are just making everything up. Poor hygiene, marks everywhere in the supposedly the best room in the hotel Royal suite!…

The room was comfortable, including the bed and views were good. And it was spacious.

I can't stress how bad the breakfast was it was the worst breakfast ever , they seriously need to look into to it as it was a low selection of breakfast including the drinks , at times I left everything and just had a tea or a omelette egg, the selection of breakfast was bland and under cooked , this boils down to the cooks , some of the food looked like left overs from the day before, we never ordered any lunch or dinner from the restaurant after seeing the low quality standard of breakfast, also a next major issue there was continuous banging sounds coming from upstairs every night for 4 nights i complaint however it wasn't solved, the swimming pool was awful i would never get into something looking rotten the way it looked terrible, the gym was ok yet again a terrible smell within the gym probably needs air freshener. I believe its a 3* reason behind it very bad breakfast, however some stuff members were ok to help , a shame really i hope they sort out the breakfast.
