Old property, needs lots of maintenance. Bathrooms: very bad state, taps not working properly. No hot water in one of bathroom during entire stay period. Was asked to pay 2.5% extra as ‘processing fee’ for payment done through debit card. This was never mentioned in booking pages.

Property was excellent for stay its balcony facing pool and ambience was quite good

It's really very exciting to stay there. Aqua marina beach resort is magnificent in every aspect.... Its pool view or beach view both are amazing , scenic and wooden cottage is mind blowing.... Thnks to serve me a beautiful memory.

The staff was very friendly - especially the housekeeping/maintenance/kitchen staff. The wooden buildings look very cozy. Great location with direct access to the beach. Long distance to walk with luggage though, since taxi cannot reach the hotel gates. We knew this in advance so it was not a problem. Tasty Indian breakfast. Plus points for good quality fresh fruits.

The resort has a lot of potential but some serious improvements should be done. In the rooms there are wires hanging even in bathroom where one showers. Table sides were unfinished wood etc. Outside areas have pipes laying around in unappealing way, there are sharp tiles, etc. No sound isolation in rooms, the music from breakfast (even not loud one) resonates in the buildings and creates an unwanted echo inside. All movements upstairs can be heard in the apartment below. Pool was very dirty, the water being “cloudy” which made it not inviting. People should be told not to swim with their clothes on and to take a shower before swimming. If one does not like Indian breakfast, the option was toast with fried egg. To attract more western tourists, one should think about “green peaceful oasis” for example with cleanliness, food and drink options and the playlist at the breakfast.

I chose the hotel due to the location on the beach.

Hard and uncomfortable pillows. Bathroom can use some upgrading.
