The proximity to the beach.

The first a.m. after arrival, there was no hot water for several hours. My children were moving about the room in their socks, within 2 hours the socks were filthy, letting me know housekeeping did not throughly clean the floors. The morning of check out, our room was flooded with 2 inches of sewer water, damaging our items. We were initially only offered a dirty cart to transport the children and a room until 12 pm to check out in. I had to show staff the extent of the damage. The $100 incidental fee is too high for the dated property. I will not be returning to this particular property, it was not a good stay at all.

Location, cleanliness,

Our heat went out in our first room, so we were moved to a second room ...and the heat went out in that room as well. This situation consumed our last day of our stay so we couldn't enjoy our weekend unfortunately!

The beds were very comfortable.

The master bedroom bathroom toilet was dirty. Urine droppings were never cleaned when we arrived at our room. The sink wasn’t cleaned. We were in town for a wedding overnight so we didn’t have time to enjoy any of the amenities. We were never told what time was for checkout and if hadn’t called the front desk at 9:35am to find out that the checkout time was 10:00am, I would have assumed 11:00am. My family didn’t have time to take showers before we travel back to Virginia. We were not allowed a later checkout. I was told she had received 25 other calls that morning to extend the checkout but they were booked and couldn’t extend my morning.
