The Laneway

Was a beautiful little apartment. As soon as you walk in you feel relaxed. Clean and cozy. Heating and music was on to welcome us. The beds were very comfy. The facilities inside were also good. Little treats on the table too. Was a great place to stay and would happily stay again. It is however a 20min walk to the town. But not bad to stretch the legs.

Beautifully renovated properties. Well styled with comfortable furniture and thoughtful extras.

Everything was easy and the place had everything we needed.

Excellent location, close to the main part of town. Nice and spacious, thoughtful inclusions such as coffee pods, complimentary snacks and nice toiletries. Lovely outdoor space too.

The ceiling fan in the main bedroom made an awful noise when turned on, you wouldn’t be able to use it. Luckily it wasn’t summer when we stayed.

Location was fantastic, far away from the town centre but still close enough (3 mins drive). The street where the house was located was quiet. We stayed in House 2 - the second one on the left, turning off from the main road. The house itself was clean, presentable and with appropriate amenities (Nespresso coffee machine with pods, washing machine and dryer, air-conditioner, smart tv, shampoo/conditioner/body gel in the bathroom).

There was only a rain shower head available in the bathroom. It would be great to have a handheld shower head as well. Water pressure wasn't too bad. There was no aircon in the bedrooms, only ceiling fans. In the summertime, you might struggle as you would have to keep the ac running in the lounge room, and hope that the cool air will drift into the bedrooms. The smoke detector emits a continuously flashing blue and red light. At night, when all other lights are out, these lights are more prominent and quite annoying.

Very thoughtful with complimentary snacks on arrival. Not too far from town. Very cosy and can be a home away from home.

The cleanliness could have been better. Our feet were black walking barefoot in the house. The dishes were not washed properly from previous visitors. The beds were so soft and offered little support making it difficult to get a good night sleep.
