Lower Trengale Farm Holiday Cottages

The cottage is new and clean and modern and a surprisingly great size. Lovely welcome pack with cream tea from the owners, parking on site, farm with friendly animals, small play area for our son, games room and on site convenience "shop". A fantastic place all around.

The shower didn't have much hot pressure but seeing as it's in the middle of nowhere it was still able to run a hot bath.

Amazing stay at a beautiful location. All needs are catered for and was even greeted with some lovely fresh scones! The cottage itself is a home from from and the grounds were perfect to explore with our 3 year old. Many thanks for a joyful stay.

Everything was there.

Very friendly and helpful hosts. Cosy cottage. Nice personal touches and extra facilities such as a small shop for essentials, laundry and games rooms. We would stay again.

A couple of minor things needed fixing such as the latch on the main bedroom door. My daughter said that they should have net curtains as people can see in to the rooms when walking past. My car struggled with the road up to the cottage and the speed bump at the entrance, but that was probably just my car.

Loveny cottage was beautiful and in a stunning location. The farm animals were a delight and very friendly. Great location for exploring the area. We had a warm welcome including some fresh homemade scones which were delicious. A fantastic stay overall. We will definitely be back for another stay.

Lovely building with lots of charm and a wood burner that can kick out some heat. Was perfect for a little get away to visit local walks or to be fair just stay in and have lazy days. Very much a comfy home from home. Also the little touches for your arrival.

Not a dislike but maybe a suggestion to have clearer packing for the cottages. Only takes one person to mess up the system and take up more room, however Gemma did say you could park int he courtyard literally 10 meters away. We stayed in January over a stormy weekend (great fun with the fire btw) so just nice to know you can park right outside and run straight to and from the car lol.

Absolutely everything! We have just arrived home from the most wonderful trip to this property. The cottage itself is a home away from home, beautifully equipped, comfortable, cosy and spacious. The grounds are STUNNING and the chickens were a hit with our children. The little park is fab and our kids spent hours out there playing and the gruffalo trail was just wonderful. The hosts are lovely and so accommodating. Location wise this place is perfect, there is so much natural beauty right on your doorstep. We never wanted to leave, there were tears!

No negatives whatsoever for us. We could have moved in.
