Residence Inn by Marriott Sedona

As always, we had a wonderful experience. The staff is always so pleasant, and the accommodations are very welcoming. We look forward to our next visit.

The facility is nice, rooms are new and clean although I had an issue with their hidden charge for parking. After getting home I found a credit card charge for 25.88 per day (51.76 total) which was not disclosed at checkin and checkout by the front desk staff as I was told everything was included and paid for through the third party site reservation. When booking directly or through third party sites double check what is included and what isn't and beware of the $25 per day parking charge. This may also be the case for resort and other fees so make sure to check all details. Keep in mind a charge back on the credit card company won't work as this shows as a legitimate charge even though no one actually discloses it.

The hotel was as expected, clean. I think the upcharge for the patio was a waste and the fee for parking wasn’t brought up until check in which was kind of shady. The front desk was awesome and the bartender was amazing.

I don't like having to pay extra for parking

Very nice facility conveniently located. Room was comfortable and large even though it was a studio. Great Schauer. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. The only thing missing was waffles. Never stayed at a hotel where the staff actually buss the table after you had finished eating. Nice touch.

Nice room in good location!

Breakfast was excellent, the location suited us we don't like being in the heart of Sedona so this site was great

Upon arriving the hotel, they had carts at the entrance that really helped up withou rbaggages

We were very well pleased with the room size and cleanliness. When we went down to breakfast, it quality of food was much better than expected.

Did not like paying $25 a day for parking at a hotel that was not in a downtown area. We were not within walking distance of the art community nor any of the top restaurants that Sedona is known for. During the check in process I asked the person checking us in about the charge and she was well - less than friendly and crossing into disdainful when explaining it was just something they charged. Our "keys" would not work and I had to go back down to have them recoded, and I hated every step knowing I was going to be required to tell this person our keys didn't work. If they had not been non-refundable prepaid rooms, her attitude would have been enough I would have turned and walked out.
