The layout of the room was not adequate! Sofa and desk at entrance but desk with high elevations blocked the tv so we had to take a chair in front of ztV and use bed instead of being able to watch Tv from sofa And all this in the dark! As the beds were by the window in bright light. Because of the configuration of closet and bathroom - the beds could not have been changed - the desk should have been on The wall where sofa was then the sofa against the other wall and we could have watched tv from sofa . They thought having desk there in between beds and sofa was more intimate but is blocked the TV ?? Calling this room an apartment is beyond all The miniature refrigerator for 4 people - cups are counted - it’s a room for 4 people and only one make up remover ? Do we have to share it! CLeaning crew every two days?? So we had garbage for 2 days 1 towel rack for 4 towels ??? At $200. + A night it’s a little ridiculous

The free breakfast included with the price was great, the food itself too. The beach is walking distance. Some restaurants are also very close by. The downtown area is less than 15 minutes away and just a straight road.

The seasonal change prices, but that’s to be expected. We just normally go the weekend before school starts for us in SC, but we wouldn’t be able to come by this year during that weekend.

The staff is excellent! Every person we speak to and engage with in any way was ready to help us. My shower was stopped up and some carpet got a little wet in my room. I called the front desk right before I left my room and is passed a gentleman in housekeeping carrying a carpet cleaner with a tank on it, like a shampooer. Assuming he was headed to my room, I stopped to tell him where the water was. He wasn’t going to my room. He was just shampooing the lobby, but since he had the tool to handle the water in my room. He said, I’ll head on up there and take care of it now. He was so thoughtful and kind about his response. I didn’t catch his name, but he was a slender, older black man in a ball cap. Thank you for a great stay!

The shower pressure was weak and water extensively leaked from the shower all over the bathroom floor. Mold and rust stains were prominent in the shower. Shower had no grab bars. The front desk lady refused to let us inspect the room prior to registration.

Pool was excellent with plenty of lounge chairs available. Hot tub was a nice addition. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was spacious. Gated parking was very convenient.

The complimentary breakfast was awful. Cold eggs, lack of employees to restock food. We tried it the first day, and choose not to eaat there the rest of our stay.
