Hyatt House Denver Aurora Anschutz Medical Campus

This hotel is a perfect place to stay when visiting a loved one at the Anschutz Medical campus. It is right across the street. Staff is very flexible with changes if loved one is not ready to be discharged from the hospital and extra days need to be added. This hotel is very clean, friendly staff and comfortable.

This little hotel became my sanctuary while visiting a family member at UC Health across the street. It was quiet, clean and had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The front desk staff (all 3 of them) were exceptional - friendly, efficient and understanding of my needs. Breakfast was very good in the morning and had many options to pick from. There's a bar with a light menu, but I did not have a chance to visit.

I was given a room facing Colfax St on A Saturday night, after a long day at Anschutz, I was tired and just wanted to sleep. But i couldn’t because the Traffic was So Noisy! It was after 2:00 before the noise quieted down and i fell asleep about 3:00. Then at 8:00 am I was awakened by constant knocking on my door that wouldn’t stop even tho i was yelling What? Until i finally went and opened door to find Housekeeping standing there checking her list. Terrible stay. Front desk should have been aware of ghe noise on Saturday nights in ghat neighborhood.

The staff was friendly and the room was nice and cozy.

The guests above us were rather loud last night. We could hear them talking, walking around, and their door would consistently open and close. It was a loud bang everytime. I was also charged more for the room than what was advertised, which was very unexpected.

It was very close to the hospital I was having clinic at.

I was charged twice and have yet to be refunded. I prepaid through booking was still charged at the front desk even though they said it was just a deposit.

We enjoyed our stay very much and the staff there was very friendly and helpful!

The quality of blankets in the room could be improved. They are not very warm.

No hot water in the shower and blind was broke so street lights were in my eyes all night

They have customer service down pat. Every request was immediately taken care of. I would especially like to highlight Alex's care during my stay. Also, the maid service was top notch.

Mostly this hotel is booked for medical reasons as across it is Colorado's biggest hospital complex. Therefore, you might presume it is pretty mostly booked months in advance. We booked it some 6 months prior to our mid west USA tour for 2 nights and it was a great decision. It is located in Aurora - Denver suburb around half the way between the airport and downtown. Depending on time of day you need 20-30 min drive to reach downtown. Hotel appears to be new and very clean. Our room was very modern, had a full kitchen (probably for medical longer stays), very comfy king size bed and a sofa. Good size bathroom with shower cabin. TIP: Ask for the room facing the parking lot, not the main Colfax Av - noise level is much lower. Breakfast was very good for American standards, served from early morning. Pool was fair in size with perfectly heated water for swimming, open from 6 AM, yet no hot tub. Parking is an issue - due to huge amount of visitors it usually doesn't have free spaces so you must park in the overflow parking which is on an unpaved small hill just beside the main parking with poor lighting, though we had no issues because of that. Staff was very kind, trying to help us with our delayed luggage and offering hygiene essentials though they had no shaving foam. All in all we found it a great price/quality hotel, as such hotel in downtown would cost times 2 or 3.

It was comfortable and clean.

I read previous reviews about the breakfast being very good but was disappointed. I didn't feel the breakfast was accurate. It was ok.
