Smartlock - slight issue getting the app to work however the host was very helpful in resolving the situation.

Could do with a blind on back patio doors into garden.

Lots of space. Many bedrooms. Nice, modern kitchen. Close to where our son lives. Easy transport to downtown Manchester. A little off the main road, so things were quiet. Nice sitting area to relax with the family. Will definitely return!

Was cold inside when we arrived at property (December). Took a little while to get it heated, but was fine when warm. There was a leak problem in the laundry room, but property indicated they would deal with it. Front door locking system a bit complicated, but OK once we got used to it.

The house was really nice and comfortable in a very good location.

Unfortunately, this was a ‘very uncomfortable’ stay. I’ll start with the property management firm, as that’s where the major problems are. A couple of days before I was due to check in, I contacted the property firm with an enquiry about parking. The property firm responded promptly, which was much appreciated, confirming that there was only two parking spaces available and to park any additional cars in a parking lay by, it is worth highlighting that what was/is not mentioned is that the ‘lay by’ is on the left lane of an incredibly busy road (Moseley Road), right infront of a bus stop. The booking.com advert advertises the house for up to 9 people, 4 double/twin rooms and free off road/private parking - no specification that this is for only two cars and you’d need to park additional cars on a very busy road. I’m not sure how you get away with not stating that the private parking is for two cars only. Usually, if you have 9 people in a house you are going to have more than two cars so when you see free private parking, you’d imagine it would be enough to accommodate 9 people which is usually at least 3 vehicles.The day after check in, we were enjoying lunch out when I received a booking.com message from Katy at the property firm, stating that they had received a complaint from the neighbour that we have 3 cars parked on the driveway and to move the carS immediately. Additionally, in the message Katy stated, “You have put us in a very uncomfortable position with our neighbours.” - I can only assume 3 cars parked on the driveway refers to the shared driveway used for access? Which is an absolute lie and I have photographic evidence to prove it. So instead of sending a message accusing us, why not call and ask for clarification of the situation? I could’ve then explained that it was one very small smart car half on, half off that we would’ve and did move as soon as parking became available. Just no need to speak to customers in that manner.
