AC Hotel by Marriott Columbus Downtown

The room was clean, bed was comfortable, and a great value for what we paid. Overall, the property met our basic needs, and we would consider staying again in the future.

The room was quite cold due to the AC continuing to run even after it was turned off (we raised concerns w/ the front desk but was told that’s just how the AC runs at this hotel and even requested extra blankets which were left outside the door on the floor in the hallway). Check-in was also a bit confusing, as there was initial uncertainty around our prepaid reservation, and we would have appreciated more proactive assistance. While the issues were manageable, a bit more flexibility, compassion or acknowledgment of the inconveniences would have gone a long way.

Beautiful and a perfect location for everything downtown Columbus! Very modern rooms and the most comfortable bed and pillows!

The check in was very smooth and fast. The staff member doing the check in was not friendly and had a whole bag of Chick fil an out in the open. Walking up to the desk smelt like fast food. He was not pleasant and seemed bothered I showed up. I woke up at 9am to banging on my door. I ignored since I wasn’t expecting anyone. They continued to bang so I had to get up and answer. It was a woman who seemed to say her name was Dallas? Asking if I needed towels. I continued to hear her bang and yell thought the hall asking people if they needed towels. For how much we are paying a night, that is absolutely not acceptable and ruined my whole experience.
