Vineyard Harbor Motel - Private Beach

This is not a high end luxury hotel but has very clean and functional rooms. We had a well stocked kitchenette and a private beach with a great view of the harbor. The staff is extremely accommodating and friendly. If you are on any sort of budget, this place is a great deal!

Our room needed to be completely gutted. Paint was peeling, siding was water damaged, floors were coupled and there was a strong odor of possibly mold. Everywhere you looked, work needed to be done. Someone entered our room after we turned in for the night. Someone from the office came a bit later and said they made a mistake.

Booked a very quick one night in order to see a performance of The Shark is Broken at the MV Performing Arts Center. We were able to check in seamlessly. Brianna was so accommodating, cheerful and helpful. She allowed us to store our luggage the next day for a few hours after check out. Kitchen was extremely clean, fully stocked and comfortable. LOVED all the hooks and shelves in the bathroom as well as the extra room. The beach was very clean and the beach towels good size. We noticed that this part of MV was not nearly as crazy or busy as the other towns during JAWS summer madness. I would recommend this motel to couples and families. For sure, we will be back. Sorry we could only stay for one quick night. Shops, restaurants and buses make the island experience perfect.

Very clean and comfortable! Great location to stay.

We just returned from a 3 day stay at Vineyard Haven, and couldn’t be more pleased! From the first second we walked in, until the second we left, the staff was friendly, professional, helpful, knowledgeable, engaging and accommodating. Briana, Nick and Spencer were truly amazing during our entire visit! The location in Vineyard Haven was perfect, and being right on the beach with breathtaking views of the sunrise, sailboats and yachts was a plus! The motel provides beach chairs, tables and umbrellas, as well as s’mores at night. The outdoor screening of JAWS on the beach was perfectly timed for the 50th anniversary! The rooms are individually decorated, and ours was was spotless and decorated with coastal charm. The bed was the most comfortable I have slept in and the towels were plush. The room was stocked with basic bathroom necessities, had a mini fridge, an iron, ironing board, and a nice place to sit outside right by the room door. I loved that the motel was secure, and your own personal code was required to get into the property. There is a Keurig coffee machine with every option of coffee, along with a flavor variety of creams. I give the charming Vineyard Harbor 5 stars, and highly recommend staying here. Kudos to providing a wonderful, friendly, clean, affordable and lovely place to stay while on Martha’s Vineyard. It really made our first visit memorable and special - and we will most definitely return!

Thank you for having us. I love your updated hotel. Clean, well decorated, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is on the beach. You provide chairs, umbrellas, and a grill. The location is perfect. The restaurants are across the street. Walk a blook or two, and you will have access to the Steamships to hop to Cape Cod and Nantucket. Two miles from the hotel is Oak Bluff and Jaws Bridge. Thank you 😊

We really enjoyed the staff and our room was nice. It’s great to have a private beach and deck right in the backyard. Our door was a bit broken or stuck, it was hard to open and very loud when we did get it open.

The location is great. Walking distance to the ferry, restaurants and shops. Also there is a bus stop right across the street. Staff was friendly and helpful.
