"A little frustration with the Hilton Honors App"

I made a reservation and checked in using the Hilton Honors App like I always do when I stay somewhere and the app made my reservation which was fine. But when I checked in using the app at 8pm at night the system made a second reservation for me and checked me in. I received a notice at 6am that my credit card was billed a second time for a no show for my original reservation. Sunday morning at 6am the desk clerk told me that he did not know how to fix it and I threatened to call the police as I did not know if this was some sort of rip off scam or not. In my opinion the General Managers of these hotels make enough of a salary that they should be able to train their employees how to handle situations in their absence other wise they should be there. So I asked him to call his general manager and have her come in to resolve my issue. He went in the back, spoke on the phone to someone, and then came back and issued a credit to my credit card. And I believe all has been resolved at this point. The room was comfortable and they did have a fridge and a microwave which were handy.

It was a great night’s sleep. Probably the best hotel mattress we’ve slept on in years. The comfort height toilet was a pleasant surprise as well. Very nice shower stall.

"Hampton Inn - Hardeeville, SC meets minimum standards"

We have had two stays at this Hampton Inn. Twice was enough. We changed our returning reservation to Hampton Inn Bluffton-Sun City. This was a much better choice. Excellent restaurants near by. The breakfast served had 3 times the selection and the whole atmosphere was pleasant. All the staff smiled and so did the guests. The best extra 4 mile drive out of our way was well worth it.
