Cairngorm Lodges

Midden in de natuur, goed bed, met de houtkachel zorg je dat de verwarming werkt (cv draait op houtkachel) voldoende hout en aanmaakspullen. Er stond ook 1 elektrisch kacheltje.

Was prima voor ons! Het is een onbemande locatie dus als je de enige bent zijn de andere huisjes niet bewoond. Overigens werd er overdag wel hout aangevuld en dergelijke dus men komt geregeld. Onduidelijk of er afwasmiddel was, mogelijk stond het er (niets opgeschreven) maar we hebben zelf een fles gekocht omdat het onduidelijk was (blauwe en groene handzeep?)

We loved every second of it, so peaceful and cozy and can't wait to go back

The log burner was fabulous! Such a relaxed and quiet space to spend the weekend. Excellent communication with host when asked for later check out at no extra cost, just the perfect end to our stay! Provided with an endless supply of logs for the fire and perfect location for exploring Deeside.

The cold bathroom.... The radiators in the cabin didn't seem to work but thankfully we were provided with heaters and of course, the log burner! So took a while for the cabin to heat up but once heated it was a lovely space to relax.

There was nothing I didn’t like, if I’m in the area in the near future I would definitely book the cabin again

The pictures really don't do it justice. Its literally right in the middle of the woods..so peaceful an with all the comforts of home . The log burner was a particular favourite 😍. Very spacious also as it can sometimes be difficult to tell on pics . Really amazing place.
