The staff was very friendly, breakfast was the best I've ever had, and the location is walkable to the beach!

I didn't have enough time but to stay a day. Wish I could've stayed longer.

You should absolutely consider this hotel when considering where to stay in Saint Augustine. Theres a difference in this hotel compared to the vast majority we have stayed at over our lifetime, and that is their tenacity with cleanliness and their commitment to literally being the best Holiday Inn in the world- trust us, there’s a sign in the elevator that says so. You can see the difference in the rooms- they are exceptionally clean, layed out well, updated and roomy. We have stayed here multiple times, most recently for almost a week with our 5 young children and again we were blown away by the staffs kindness and helpfulness and quality of the rooms. The pool is perfectly heated and covered and clean and there’s plenty of beach necessities available free of charge. Breakfast was hot and made with care, and honestly- let’s talk about having a large patio with your hotel room and how nice that makes traveling! Publix is literally a minute and a half walk through a parking lot away, with everything you may have forgotten and then some. Vilano beach is gorgeous, the little strip has a special handful of little shops and food to explore and downtown is minutes away. We dont write reviews often, but this place certainly deserves a great one. Traveling with kids, try the 2 room king suite…

Money went missing from my purse when the housekeeping came in. We were at breakfast. I forgot to put do not disturb on the door. We were only gone 20 minutes. 500.00 cash gone. I didn't know it until we were on our way home. It was money I had to pay my taxes on the following Monday. This is my last stay at Holiday inn Vilano. The room was also super small.

My best friend and I stayed here from April 15-19, 2026. I also stay here at least once a year for the past 4 years with my husband. The same wonderful people are there. The owner, Farid (no spell) is in the breakfast area every morning cleaning, talking to everyone, giving out fresh fruit cups that are perfect for the beach, handing out fresh blueberry muffins. The breakfast is amazing!! He asks if he can do anything to make our stay better or if he can help navigate the area. Also, our room attendant Mary is so friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The rooms are very clean and spacious and the location is prime. Thanks again for a great vacation.
