Surf City Hotel

Conveniently located to the venue of the conference that we attended.

There was so much noise from ac unit right outside of the windows that we could not sleep at all. We asked the hotel to change to other room but they could. We had two bed room suite, but the rooms were very very small just enough to fit a bed in each room with outdated decor dimly lighted. No coffee maker. Very small sink in the bathroom, no shampoos/soaps in the dispenser. The worst thing for us was that our beds’ mattresses were so bad that they gave us back pains. We let the front desk know but they were so unhelpful. They said that they cannot do anything. We ended up getting another room at the hotel at our expense so to avoid the noise and the bad mattresses. They did not even offer a discount.

The staff is great and very clean. Great location!

Needs a full length mirror, we were in town for a wedding.

I always love my Sept. stay! The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and convenient to everything. The Bistro food and cocktails are awesome. The ocean is steps away and the bay is an easy walk. ☆☆☆☆☆

I enjoyed my stay here. The room wasn’t fancy but it was clean and quiet and it nicely served my needs. My only complaint is the fact that there was no chair in the room. I don’t think this is too much to expect from a hotel. I am not a fan of sitting on the bed but really you aren’t left with much of a choice. But as long as this hotel continues with their reasonable rates (they really were a much fairer price than most properties), I’ll stay here again.
