Hampton Inn Queen Creek, AZ

AVOID THIS HOTEL. I called twice to confirm our reservation, but when we arrived, no reservation. They put us in the room we had reserved, but the computer crashed, so the clerk said we could take care of running a credit card in the morning. Then they called in the middle of the night, after we were sound asleep, to ask for the credit card. We asked if we could do it in the morning and they said yes (so then why call and wake us up)? In the morning, it turned out they had found the card info in our original reservation and didn't need the card after all. On top of this, this hotel has no soundproofing. Within five minutes of entering the room on each night, we received calls from the front desk with noise complaints. I understand--we could hear every footstep of the room above--but then normal use of the room shouldn't lead to repeated phone calls from the desk. Moldy AC, unclean spaces, and no rest to be found. I won't stay again.

Check out staff!

When we checked in, it was about 11:30. The gentleman manning the desk was having his lunch. It was very apparent from initial greetings to fully checked in that we were interrupting him. This place is just a little high-end to be an interruption.

Reservation at queen creek for king room was cancelled on day of arrival for a "maintenance issue" My reservation was transferred by manager to East Mesa at the same price for a queen room. Later checking on Hampton website for my dates there were multiple rooms available at queen creek.
