Casa Loma Inn & Suites by OYO Davenport IA near I-80

Haunted too stay away, itchy beds not so clean. Went to bed had a dream and get up and search the history and it’s exactly what I saw in my dream. I love ghost too. Stay if you want to see ghost lol. Davenport run down city

3.75 stars (out of 5). The manager is very friendly and made my check-in itself very smooth. The slight problem was that i was on the second floor without an elevator. So I just grabbed what I needed for the night carrying it all in little trash bags. The rooms are a little dated and have the available plugs didn't work. There are several good things about this place: light in the tub/shower, a nice little sitting area on the second floor landing, i also the wide steps on the staircase (i wouldn't have been able to get up at all without them), also the little fridge was a big help too. Overall it is not too bad, especially for the price (½ to ¼ of a lot of the other hotels). I would recommend them with the above warning.

Cheap hotel. Hotel needs updating. Very dirty carpet and bed spread. Would NOT stay here again.

It took way too long for check in. The man at the counter was not listening to the answers to the questions he asked me and was very distracted with other guests. It was a non smoking hotel but smelled everywhere like cigarette smoke. There was even a cigarette butt on the floor in the bathroom. The carpets and side furniture was disgusting. The building has charm and the rooms are huge. The bed was very comfortable and the refrigerator was cold. Everything else was gross and there was NO hot water for the shower.

It was a good clean basic hotel.

Some of the lights in the room didn’t seem to be working, two lamps were missing lamp shades, there were several odd stains and patches in both the carpeting and the bedsheets, part of the security lock on the door was missing, and the smoke detector was missing. Overall strange experience that left me uncomfortable with the property.

The owner was really amazing. Hotels.com listed a loft room as a hot tub suite. When we arrived it was very frustrating to find that the site (hotels.com) inaccurately listed photos of a room we booked. The owner gave us the room (hot tub suite), we thought we booked and even gave us a discount. Very friendly and went above and beyond.

It was a nice night!
