Casa Loma Inn & Suites by OYO Davenport IA near I-80

We had a reservation confirmation in hand and they informed us that their hotel was full. Another man walked into the lobby before I left and was told the same thing. Book elsewhere and avoid this hassle. I have read reviews on this place since this happened, this is not a first time event!!!! Staff was very rude!!!! Of course I was perturbed but I wasn't out of line.

So, let me start by saying I don’t normally leave reviews, however this place definitely warrants one. My fiancé and I were traveling back home from a funeral, and since it was a 14 hour drive we decided to stop for the night. Well I went online and found this place, the pictures looks cute, and it was a decent price so we figured why not. First of all when we got to the place I went to go check in, and the man at the counter (who was the only employee I saw in this place btw) informed me that even though I had already paid through Hotels.com the price for the room was listed incorrectly and I would have to pay him an additional $42.21. (Almost the cost of another room online). I was taken aback, because this place is… well garbage and now staying there would be more expensive then staying in a fancy casino hotel down the road. So I ask to just cancel and refund my stay because I don’t want to pay $142 for a run down hotel, but he said I can’t because my cancellation window was over and even if I canceled they would keep the money. So I had to chuck over more money just to stay at a place I had already booked. Moreover, this hotel was DISGUSTING. The carpet in the room was dirty and stained. The sheets were stained and didn’t look clean, the non smoking room smelled like stale smoke, and there were roaches in the room. All in all I would have been better off staying in the Super 8 down the road. Take my advice and literally stay anywhere else but here.

I thought the location of the property was spot on, no noise from people or traffic. The room overall was nicely decorated, a few little things but not enough to complain about. Oh and very nice customer service, front fesk guy was awesome!! Def recommend

This place is a dump, very dirty and gross.

It’s was absolutely horrible! We get there and it’s under construction and the room we booked thru you was to be a king suit with hot tub for 100 dollars a night, and then the guy at desk said “it’s not available and it’s not hot tub the site is misleading “! Unacceptable! Then try’s to give me a room under construction, I said no! Finally get a room on 3rd floor queen room for unfortunately the same price as suite! Then sat night there was a drugged up person all night threatening people coming in and out of hotel til 5am with a led pile and yelling all night ! Very unsafe!! Finally we check out on Sunday and of course we r on the 3rd floor with no elevator in the hotel and I have a broken back! I have to drag my suit case down the stairs and the old man running started yelling and threatening me! This is unacceptable behavior and Customer service!!!! I will never and will never recommend staying there for me or my friends and family! Not safe and Horrific service!!

Pool wasn't open and they never said anything about it, room was pretty dirty, only good thing was jacuzzi in room was decent sized, definitely not getting what you pay for.

Everything was great- only problem I had was with Hotels.com they told me it was a suite with a jacuzzi and it was not

Was disappointing carpets were dirty and old
