Beautiful property! Just like how you see it in the pictures. A lot of nice extra little touches by the hotel staff too - for example they gave us tangerines (it was tangerine season), a nice amenity kit (in addition to the standard kit that was already provided), good breakfast, good views. Really nothing to complain about if you’re driving!

Amazing hotel. Cosy room with stunning view! Location wise is out of the place however not regretting it. Being greet by the beautiful sea view. Staffs are super helpful especially for solo travelers like me. Appreciated this stay.

This place is incredible, and highly recommended. Somewhat secluded, so a car is a major plus, but not completely necessary if you plan ahead. Staff are friendly, and accommodating. There are eateries, and a couple convenient stores nearby, but close around 9PM or so. The restaurant/bakery attached to the hotel is also really good. You can/should go there even if not staying in the hotel. It's a western menu with quite a lot of selections, really enjoyed the black pepper chicken sandwich. Rooms are soundproof with a lot of conveniences (bluetooth speaker, outlets...). The Hideaway is a wonderful place to get away, and maybe spot some mermaids (haenyeo) too.

Lovely place to stay in the southwest of Jeju Island. Very close to attractions on the east and south (Seogwipo) areas. There's a charging station in the parking lot. You will need a car though, makes travelling in this part of the island a lot easier. Staff are lovely and very friendly. Continental breakfast was my highlight each morning - delicious and healthy.

The ocean view from each room is beautiful and the hot tub on the patio is romantic. Above all, the nice staff are the best.

Newly renovated cute hotel with fancy decors, nice features, like the infinity pool and huge bathtub on the balcony. Complimentary American style breakfast is certainly a plus to the great overall experience.

Overall this hotel was very beautiful. Absolutely loved our room with the ocean view. The staff were very nice and the breakfast was very delicious. Having a parking lot and the convenient store & restaurants nearby was very convenient. The only thing that I think the hotel can improve on is the refrigerator in the room because ours didn't work. I also think it would be helpful to have a 24 hour front desk service for early check-out & late check-in.

We spent 6 nights at Tropical Hideaway and we absolutely loved it. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful and the facility is beautiful. Unfortunately, we didn't have a rental car as planned, but there were things to do and see in the immediate area within walking distance. There were many restaurants close by and we also ate at the hotel several times because the food, while not traditionally Korean, was delicious. It was a nice surprise to be able to see the Jeju women divers right outside our window one morning! Much better than the tourist "show" that is available! The large infinity pool was heated to a perfect temperature as was the smaller soaking pool. The sauna was small but big enough for two and the lounging cabanas were very comfortable. There were only a couple of things that would have made our stay even better. 1) Since we didn't have a vehicle, a washer and dryer would have been great. 2) The mattress was rock hard. Literally. It makes sense since Koreans, in general, prefer a firm surface for sleeping but after 6 nights, our backs were screaming. It might be nice to have the option of a softer mattress topper if needed. 3) It isn't possible to get anything other than coffee, tea, or water with the included breakfast. That is probably not an issue for most people but, personally, I don't drink any of those things so having an option to purchase juice or a chocolate latte would have been welcome. Overall, we LOVED our stay and will return!!

Starting with the positives: the property has a wonderful, secluded location, the name "hideaway" is truly fitting. This part of Jeju was the one we liked the most - wishing we had stayed in this area for all of our trip. Both the room and the pool area were great, stylish and nicely executed. The food at the cafe was mostly great (really loved the burgers), but avoid the avocado toast if you expect an Australian level. Breakfast was also great and the lady serving us was really friendly and accommodating when we had to leave fast. As for the negatives: it felt like some of the staff could not live up to the expectations "set" by the facilities (and the price we paid). There were a few smaller things we found a bit weird, but we really did not like one incident: after finishing dinner in the cafe and already on our way to the elevator, one staff member demanded us to return our tray to the counter. We did not know then that this was expected (and also found it a bit surprising given the overall positioning of the hotel) but wouldn't have minded if we had been gently reminded to do it the next time. Staff requesting a paying guest to walk back for this instead of just taking care of it themselves is not acceptable in our view.
