Hotel Sky Cape Town

Great location, but tiny rooms, lifts are terribly slow, it's a tourist machine - busloads arrive and depart. Check-in staff are tired and sullen. Not really a good base for doing business

Nice hotel near by City center. Easy to walk to the V&A Waterfront. Hotel itself has nice facilities and restaurants. Food was excellent.

Amazing staff, terrible decor, minuscule rooms that need upgrading. Wait 5 minutes for a lift. Location subideal.

Location is perfect. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. Free parking in a secure onsite parking garage. The breakfast was really good! We stayed in a Superior Twin room, the layout is a bit strange, you walk through the "bathroom" into the room. Room is very narrow, not much space to walk past the beds. Beds are comfortable. Little disappointed with the shower - for a 4 star hotel I would expect a fixed shower not a handheld shower. Also, strange that they do not have a kettle in the room. Rooms could use a refurb, scratches on the walls (most likely from the room being too narrow and people dragging their bags past the beds), carpets seem old etc. Overall a good experience, just a few changes can be made to create an unforgettable experience in my opinion. I would return to this hotel.

Very good hotel, excellent location and excellent breakfast. The smallest rooms are too small (for a couple), the upgraded room was very convenient.

The staff overall is professional and supportive. The food is yummylicious and the buffet breakfast is catering for everyone. The room is relatively spacious especially the 4 Bunk Bed room...

I arrived at the restaurant, there was nobody at the entrance and I had to look for someone from the staff to be seated. The restaurant was almost empty (Sunday lunch), so not much atmosphere), but the good thing is that I could choose the table I wanted. The views are exceptional (even from the washroom). Foodwise, it was OK - casual dining, but definitely not fine dining. The service was friendly, but a bit slow. I wouldn't mind much as I was enjoying the views.
