Hotel Sky Cape Town

Loved the hotel, location and views. Unique to SA and Cape Town, BUT the elevator system and checking out when hotel is full to be in time for international flights is a BIG problem that need some attention.

Rooms are far to small, one feels claustrophobic and cramped in. It feels as if though the rooms were made smaller in size to double up on the accommodation

Fantastically located with easy access to all amenities, the V&A Waterfront and Table Mountain. However, unless you are into back packing, I would not recommend. The rooms are so crammed they feel like a fancy prison cell. Not a hotel room I would share with another person. Absolutely no space to walk between the bed and wall with the tv. Toilet & shower have a divider in between that does not reach the ceiling. The hotel is also full of young adults (age range 18 - 23). I arrived after 10PM, tried changing rooms when I saw how tiny the room it but they are fully booked. Cape Town has far too many other options for me to come back.

Rooms are very industrial and do not give the impression of comfort. No room service and the coffee machine is out in the hall.

The rooms are OK, but mine was flooded because the shower was constantly overflowing. The reception was unfriendly and snotty. However, the service and the restaurant were really great and friendly.

Second time at the hotel I would not mind coming back again

Please be aware that they want to have money of you (1000 Rand) if you arrive after 23:00 because there is a „lockdown“ that nobody tells you about it. Bar and Restaurant super Service, nice food. But the fee that they wanted from me without any forewarning ruined the experience

This is our 2nd of 3 back to back congresses at the CTICC in Cape Town and all our bookings was at The Sky Hotel that worked out perfect for us

Best hotel to stay attending a Congress at the CTICC within walking distance and had a great stay Already booked for the next Congress later in the month
