Hotel Sky Cape Town

Hotel Sky is really well located, serves a great breakfast, was very clean and service was good. Great value.

I had a wonderful stay at The Sky Hotel. From the reception staff to the cleaning staff has been so friendly and helpful. I was safe and my privacy was amazingly respected. I thoroughly enjoyed the buffet breakfast and the amazing views inside and outside of the hotel. I look forward to a summer stay

I stayed at Sky Hotel with my family — four people in total. We booked a room with four bunk beds, but unfortunately, the room felt more like a hallway than a proper bedroom. We were quite disappointed with the space. It’s a shame because everything else was perfect: the reception and lobby were beautiful, and both the restaurant and breakfast were excellent!

Very satisfied with Happy from the Front Desk service... Fantastic work lady. Keep up. And Lauren , the intern who assisted on her very first day at the Hotel to make this special. Well done

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Sky. I had a view of the harbour and came back to a clean room every day. There is lots of entertainment and the food is great!

It was a great stay as always and the breakfast delish!!!!! The room was clean and neat. It is always a pleasant experience.

I was surprised that there was no minifridge in the room and that coffee service was only in the hallways, although it was amazing coffee, once in your slacks one might not feel comfortable to exit the room during the evening or early hours to make coffee in the hall...They could not assist me to keep something cold, not even freeze an icepack I had on hand...

This hotel is amazing. We stayed here - family of four - in a room with two bunk beds. It was really fun. The breakfast was incredible and the near circular views of the city outstanding. Absolutely loved this hotel.

This was far from a great experience. Reception and arrival felt unwelcoming, and even a bit unsafe. The parking is absolutely horrible. The room wasn’t clean, the amenities were basic, and overall cleanliness fell far below standard. While the location is excellent, the hotel suffers from poor maintenance and undertrained staff. With the right improvements, it could be a decent spot—but at this price point, it’s absolutely not worth it. At the restaurant, we waited over five minutes just to be acknowledged, even though the place was only half full. It felt seriously understaffed. Unless you’re backpacking and only care about location, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Bookings.com’s high rating was very misleading—I’ll be taking that up with them too.
