Clear Sky Resorts - Grand Canyon - Unique Sky Domes

Loved the dome and the stars and sunrise. Comfortable beds. Lovely helpful staff. Food was unexpectedly delicious and super high quality. Totally worth it. Also enjoyed our horseback ride. Thanks!

They seemed very under staffed and were not very hospitable. It seemed like they were a bit overwhelmed. Pricey food with small portions.

Truly Amazing Experience! There are few places in the U.S. where you can truly see a dark night sky full of stars. This amazing resort combines the beauty of nature and the unique experience of viewing it while staying in a dome! Fully equipped with heat and a/c, beautiful bathroom, outdoor seating, hammock, loft, and cozy blankets! Outdoor activities include s’mores, bounce tube, outdoor giant chess, etc…Highly recommended!

I wouldn’t recommend this resort. They had a cyber attack and my number, email, name and my room information was stolen and I got fishing texts trying to get my credit card information. I didn’t get any sort of apology or anything. I spent $700 for my room for a night and requested a room on the end of the resort that was secluded weeks before my stay and they said they said they would try their best. When I was checking in the man to the left of me requested the same thing and they moved him. I confirmed where my room was and they said they didn’t have anything. The room was 64 degrees when we got to the room and you could see the neighbors and their fire pit right away. I requested to move and didn’t get any sort of customer service. They were very rude. They all the sudden said the room I originally wanted was now available but I had to pay for housekeeping to come in. The restaurant wasn’t great either. It took 8 minutes for the waiter to come over because our bus boy couldn’t take our drink order. The bed headrest was also broken in the room we stayed at. We also weren’t able to see the stars at all. It’s not the resort’s fault it was cloudy but was just the nail in the coffin. I have never asked to move rooms or wrote a review but wanted to warn others from waiting their money. It also sucked that the rates went down to $300ish and they wouldn’t give me the lower price. No customer service.

The staff was very friendly and efficient. We knew that Clear Sky wouldn't be a luxury stay, but the bed was very comfortable. They did their best with the temperature during the day, but given the extreme heat and the nature of the dome, it got hot fast in the morning. The evening was comfortable. Very cool concept - we loved seeing all of the stars at night. Many activities were available onsite but we arrived too late after visiting the Grand Canyon to take advantage of them. Overall, very cute and fun for a night's stay. Communication was very clear and frequent.

The breakfast food was just ok. As mentioned, the dome heated up quickly, but that is understandable.

Even on cold weekend, we stayed warm in the beautiful dome we stayed in. The sky and stars were beautiful, and the dinner at Sky Nova Cafe was delicious. A perfect couples weekend!

Incredible experience. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, from the front desk to the restaurant employees. The domes are well designed, and every little detail has been thoughtfully considered. The large bathrooms and heating kept us very comfortable in the cold weather. The restaurant has some of the best food in the area, along with a great coffee shop. The stargazing was amazing, and the staff member who led it was very knowledgeable.
