Little Mongena Tented Camp

What a beautiful camp this is, as soon as we arrived we loved it. No hippos in the lake when we were there which was a shame but saw a crocodile. Game drives were great, staff were very friendly and welcoming, food was excellent, pool was fantastic to relax by. Room was very comfortable, Would love to see more comfortable seating on the rooms verandahs to relax more.

A little more choice at dinner would be nice as I had the same meal twice as didn’t like other options. Coffee breaks & sundowners were a tad too long. No hot water in the shower a few times. A small fridge in the room would be great to keep water cold. Wait at reception for transfer to lodge was a bit long.

The game drives and the rangers were exceptional!!The tents are beautifully equiped and have stunning views over the dam.

The food choices are minimal with poor wine selection. The communal area needs attention ito maintenance. Instant coffee before early morning game drive was not appreciated.

All inclusive is always a winner for a weekend away. Super friendly staff!

Mom had to take cold showers twice. No hot water.

Everything was excellent. The ranger walked an extra mile to show us all of the Big 5. His knowledge about the plants, animals & birds is amazing. The very friendly waiter Harrison's excellent service could not be better. Dean the manager made us feel welcome and important to firm
