Dreams Bahia Mita Surf and Spa - All Inclusive

Room, Service, Food and Amenities were amazing. Armando puts on a great hibachi show and Luis makes the best spicy mezcalitas. Always a family favorite resort that just keeps getting better.

Just got back from our trip. It was an awesome stay. Food was solid. Beach was nice. Lots of pools and places to eat. Friendly, helpful staff. I was worried it was going to be too big, but no complaints really. It's easy to get the lay of the land, and it makes sense where things are located. Entertainment was good. Cool towns close by. I recommend going to Sayulita for a day. Would definately go back. The West Coast, is the Best Coast.

This was our second stay here and we hope to be back! The Explorer's Club staff was exceptional--Magaly, Claudia, Brisa, Kali, Violeta, Jenny--all amazing! Seeing them play with children at the pirate ship--they were engaged and seemed to genuinely enjoy caring for kids. The food was generally solid, with an outstanding breakfast buffet. Luisa always greeted us with a smile at the omelet station, and the crepe station gentleman was always so friendly and kind. Warning--use the free beach shoes at the beach--my husband got injured by a sea urchin when he did not. It would be nice to have child-sized life jackets at the aquatics center as well. The boogie boards were fun, but beware of rocks and sea-urchins. As globalists, we received excellent service and access to preferred lounge, but no upgrade was available for us.

Everything at this resort was complicated: the reservations to restaurants, no parent access to the kids club was weird, where you could sit to eat, no service at the pool, among many others. To top things off we had to cut our vacation short for an emergency bat home, talked to Expedia who said they would refund our nights if the hotel agreed too, which they did when we were still there in person. Fast forward two weeks later, they let us know that their front desk made a mistake and they won’t be refunding our 2k. Terrible customer service all around, won’t be staying there again.

Food is pretty good. Rooms are pretty nice. Doors to the rooms are SOOOOO thin. You can hear EVERYTHING going on outside!! Our room faced a large courtyard and there’s LOUD music going til 11:00pm at night. It sounds like the party/karaoke is literally in your room. If you like to go to bed before 11:00pm this is not the place for you.

We just got back from 10 days at Dreams Bahia Mita and it was really wonderful! My kids and I enjoyed the Zipline tour with Abisai and Brisa. They were so patient and kind when my youngest got scared and wanted to ride with the instructor. And it was a nice break from the pools and sun, and we got to see some cool wildlife. The staff were really attentive and kind. It was about 50 min ride from the airport, but feels very safe an secure; we called it 'the compound'. Bring a lot more sunscreen than you think you need; it's over $20 USD for the cheapest bottle here.

Great resort for kids. Specifically the slides for the bigger kids, splash area for little kids and the awesome kids club! My kids begged to go and see Brisa, Claudia, Jenny, Kali, Violeta and Magaly every day!!

This exceeded our expectations! Especially Wendy who made pool time so much more fun! Games, bracelet making, dancing, and even recognizing our daughter’s birthdays with cakes. We came over Thanksgiving week - it wasn’t crowded. The food was awesome, much better than we expected. This includes catering to picky kids. Stephanie served us twice (once Thanksgiving and once at El Patio). She took the time to have conversation with us and even introduced the chef at El Patio so we could share it was our favorite meal!! We would certainly come back!!

Came as a guest for a wedding, and Dreams Bahía Mita did not disappoint. Great food options (restaurants and “to go” spots throughout the resort with fresh made to order snacks and great ready-made items also), pool and beach area was clean, service was prompt, kind and professional. Rooms were very comfy and luxurious. Loved all the free entertainment options (Edgar’s Jungle Trek around the property was awesome! (He did a fabulous job making it accessible for families and people of all ages, it was fun and informative)). Location was quiet compared to previous experiences in Puerto Vallarta. Looking forward to coming again soon. (Major plus for it trying to be environmentally conscious too).
