Palazzo al Carmine

Very close to the Duomo and nice restaurants. Nice shower. Had a very useful little kitchen. Check in/ out very smooth.

Sofa bed was creaky and not very comfy. Towels need updating.

La posizione è davvero ottima, comoda per esplorare Monreale con calma. La camera è moderna, curata nei dettagli, e offre tutto ciò che si può desiderare: macchina del caffè, frigobar, comfort e silenzio. Un soggiorno piacevole, che unisce funzionalità e atmosfera.

Abbiamo scelto la camera 100 al piano terra perché mia madre ha 84 anni—una soluzione comoda e accessibile. La stanza è un po’ buia, ma se serve solo per dormire non influisce sulla qualità complessiva del soggiorno.

Location was great--close to the Cathedral of Monreale. Bus to Palermo was nearby. Breakfast was great.

The property was difficult to get to by car and street parking was nearly impossible.

The apartment was perfect. Clean, modern and comfortable

Seem less remote checkin. Very quiet area and close to centre of the town (5 mins walk) offering a good selection of restaurants. Lovely spacious apartment. Separate sofa and a small table and chairs to eat at. Very clean. All the basics toaster, kettle, fridge etc for what you may need to make yourself breakfast. Plenty of small supermarkets nearby. On the Monday morning there was even a local coming round selling his fruit and veg from his truck door to door! An insight into the day to day lives of the locals! The Duomo in the main square is definitely a must see. It is easy to catch the bus (12 mins walk) into Palermo for the day.

A couple of wine glasses and a bottle opener would have been welcome. There were two champagne flutes but wine does not taste the same out of these.

Spacious, clean apartment within 5 minutes walking of the Duomo. We loved the bathroom with the big shower!

Bellissimo appartamento in centro a Monreale, a pochi passi dal fantastico Duomo. La casa è ben arredata, molto spaziosa e ben attrezzata. Staff cordiale e responsivo, abbiamo prenotato con pochissimo preavviso e non c'è stato alcun problema.

Un bollitore in stanza sarebbe stato comodo, per il resto tutto benissimo. Essendo in pieno centro storico parcheggiare è complicato, l'auto va lasciata distante almeno 5-10 min a piedi (noi siamo stati fortunati e abbiamo trovato subito un posto non a pagamento, ma non è scontato)

It was our second stay within a week. We returned because we liked it so much. The bathroom in particular was excellent.

Because we had previously stayed upstairs in an apartment, we found this room a little dark and poky by comparison. Because it opened on to the street we could only open the window a crack. It’s worth paying more for a bigger room.
